Javid Alakbarov

Javid Alakbarov joined the Center as a research fellow in October 2023.  His research interests include International Migration, Intrastate Conflicts and Crises, Social Housing, Innovations in Governance, International Healthcare Systems, and long-term health policies. Javid Alakbarov holds an undergraduate degree (BA) in Public and International Affairs from ADA University and a postgraduate degree (MSc) in Public Policy and Management from the University of Glasgow. Javid Alakbarov participated in several academic mobility programs in Lithuania and Scotland. He authored a peer-reviewed research article that appeared in the International Conference of Young Social Science Researchers 2023, held by the UNEC Empirical Research Center. Besides his academic experience, Javid Alakbarov has a professional career as a team leader of language instructors at UNDP (United Nations Development Program).
