Research Fellow Emiliya Ahmadova mentored UNEC undergraduate student on a research paper devoted to impulsive buyer behavior.
Research Fellow Emiliya Ahmadova mentored Ayan Nabiyeva, a final year student at the International School of Economics (ISE) of UNEC, on academic writing. Their cooperation culminated in co-authorship on a research paper, "Analysis of the impulsive buyer behavior: empirical evidences from Azerbaijan." The authors demonstrated that impulsive buying tendency changes depending on age, education, and income level. Based on the results of the study, hedonic motivation, self-control, and well-being were identified as factors influencing impulsive buying behaviour.
The results of the study were published in the Journal of Islamic Marketing.
