Nijat Muradzada graduated from the University of Glasgow with the highest grade

Research Fellow Nijat Muradzada completed a postgraduate degree (MSc) in Global Economy at the University of Glasgow with Distinction in the first place.

The Research Fellow of the UNEC Empirical Research Center, Nijat Muradzada completed a postgraduate degree (MSc) in Global Economy at the University of Glasgow with Distinction and ranked first in his cohort due to the highest GPA. During his studies, Nijat Muradzada was awarded University’s merit-based "Chancellor's Award Scholarship" for his outstanding academic achievement, and his dissertation and essays are kept at the University library as exemplary work.


Nijat Muradzada previously completed an undergraduate degree (BA) in Business Administration at Istanbul University with Distinction in the top three. He authored one book, four research papers published in peer-reviewed journals, two conference materials, several policy briefs and a series of opinion articles published in press, mainly in the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC).


The UK-based University of Glasgow is ranked among the 100 most prestigious higher education institutions in the world; where besides five prime ministers and 8 Nobel Prize laureates, major figures of modern history, including Adam Smith, the father of capitalism, James Wilson, a founder of the United States of America, Lord Kelvin, the creator of the Kelvin temperature scale, James George Fraser, one of the founders of modern anthropology, James Watt, a key figure of Industrial Revolution, were educated.
