The deputy director of the UNEC Empirical Research Center, Nijat Muradzada was interviewed by the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) on the recent research project on university-state-industry relations.
“The winner of the internal grant competition of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), "University-state-industry relations in Azerbaijan: who wants what?” research project explores the problem in effective communication in university-state-industry relations in Azerbaijan. The project was successfully implemented by researchers of the UNEC Center for Empirical Studies and the UNEC Research Center for Knowledge Economy,” deputy director of the UNEC Empirical Research Center Nijat Muradzada told AZERTAC.
“Given that the intense global competition has given rise to the emergence of a new environment and new conditions, the knowledge economy yields exceptional significance in terms of sustainable development. In this context, our research that took place in the progressive scientific environment at UNEC, examines the communication and coordination issues between higher education institutions, public, and private sectors, which are considered the main actors in the transition to the knowledge economy in Azerbaijan. Our research has multifaceted and comprehensive results. These are both fundamental and practical in essence. The practical implications of the research hold great potential to contribute to the future policy-making process in Azerbaijan within this field,” Nijat Muradzada said.
